Abstract
Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty with or without stenting of steno-occlusions in the supra-aortic arch vessels in aortoarteritis is associated with suboptimal results and higher restenosis rates, particularly in those with diffuse disease. We report two cases of stand-alone cutting balloon angioplasty for patients who presented with critical stenosis of the common carotid artery, and occlusion of the subclavian artery, respectively.Entities:
