Abstract
This article discusses the experience, rationale for and limitations of the group discussion as a method for collecting qualitative data. The researcher defines the group discussion as a focused group depth discussion' premised on a review of the focus group literature. A number of strengths are proposed for and the limitations are countered in the use of the group discussion as a method for collecting qualitative data.Mesh:
