Abstract
Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection is a well-known frequent complication in HIV-infected patients. We report a case of thrombotic microangiopathy and severe hypothermia in a 21-y-old woman positive for HIV infection. CMV infection was diagnosed by PCR. The symptoms completely resolved after ganciclovir therapy which supports the role of CMV as a causative agent.Entities:
