Abstract
A4-year-old girl presented with an acquired port-wine stain in the distribution of the first branch of the trigeminal nerve. The lesion appeared after a head injury and slowly enlarged over the next 2 years. Including our patient, 25 instances of acquired port-wine stains have been reported in children. Ten (40%) of these were trauma related. The possible etiopathogenesis of acquired posttraumatic port-wine stains is discussed.Entities:
