Abstract
A 43-year-old man presented 10 days after a Roux-en-Y gastric bypass with abdominal pain radiating to the back. Investigation revealed a thrombus in the superior mesenteric vein. The patient was found to have a hypercoagulable state. He responded successfully to anticoagulant therapy.Entities:
