Abstract
Neisseria sicca, a commensal organism of the oropharynx, has rarely been implicated as a pathogen responsible for causing bacterial endocarditis. A pregnant woman developed N sicca endocarditis at 32 weeks' gestation. Although there was an initial delay in diagnosis and therapy, the maternal and fetal outcomes were excellent.Entities:
