Intraosseous lipoma of the fifth metatarsal: a case report.

Bilgehan Uguz1, Ahmet Turan Aydin.

Abstract

Intraosseous lipomas are benign tumors of bone. Although the tumor may affect many different locations, small bone involvement is quite rare. The authors report a case of an intraosseous lipoma of the fifth metatarsal treated with curettage and packing with allograft. The clinical and laboratory features of the case are also discussed.
