An organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite containing copper paddle-wheel clusters linking perovskite layers : [Cu(O2C-(CH2)3-NH3)2]PbBr4.

The incorporation of Cu(2)(CO(2))(4) clusters, built up from amino carboxylic acid zwitterionic molecules, led both to the stabilization of a layered hybrid perovskite, and to the formation of a covalent bond pathway between adjacent perovskite layers.
