Abstract
Arachnoid cyst rupture causing subdural hygroma is rare. Twenty-one cases have been previously reported in the literature. We report a case of a 9-year-old boy presenting signs and symptoms of increased intracranial pressure due to the rupture of a type III arachnoid cyst causing subdural hygroma. The clinical and radiological findings as well as the management of the patient are discussed in relation to the pertinent literature.Entities:
