Frequency and imaging appearance of hepatic angiomyolipomas in pediatric and adult patients with tuberous sclerosis.

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: This study evaluates the frequency and imaging appearance of hepatic angiomyolipomas in pediatric and adult patients with tuberous sclerosis.
CONCLUSION: Multiple hepatic angiomyolipomas are often found in patients with tuberous sclerosis, particularly in those with bilateral diffuse renal angiomyolipomas.
