Abstract
The use of phototherapy and photochemotherapy in children has been limited due to concerns over their long-term carcinogenic potential. Furthermore, the method of administration is disconcerting to some children, particularly as phototherapy treatment units are seldom rendered 'child-friendly'. Despite these reservations, ultra-violet therapies can be useful treatment options for children with selected dermatological conditions provided they are used under carefully controlled conditions.Entities:
