Abstract
Lichen planus is an inflammatory dermatosis affecting the skin and mucous membrane. In oral lichen planus, the gingival tissue is often involved. Treatment is symptomatic and depends mostly on the administration of corticosteroids and tranquilizers. This report presents the case of a patient with gingival lichen planus who was treated with free gingival graft. Followup after 3 1/2 years showed that the lesions had completely disappeared.Entities:
