Abstract
Systemic lupus erythematosus is a multifactorial autoimmune disease of complex etiology, which may be associated with cognitive dysfunction, seizures, and headache. The authors present an unusual presentation of systemic lupus erythematosus complicated by global cerebral edema and subarachnoid hemorrhage secondary to rupture of a cerebral aneurysm.
