[Complications in the posterior eye segment after Nd-YAG laser capsulotomy].

Emina Alimanović-Halilović1.

Abstract

After the Nd-YAG laser posterior capsulotomy can be develop complications on the posterior eye segment. Aims of the research is showed the frequency of the complications which developed during six months, and to analyze the influence of total laser energy on them. Number complications is raised on the time. Rupture of the anterior hyaloid face in 7.5% of the cases, rupture retina in 4.1%, rupture macule in 2.5%, retinal detachment in 2.5%, cystoid macular edema in 4.1%, macular fibrose in 10.8%, changes in the corpus vitrei in 10.8% of the eyes. The influence total laser energy on the complications is statistically significant, and the collerative connections are positive and strong.
