Abstract
Diverticulosis accounts for 50% of adult cases of lower gastrointestinal bleeding. Recurrent or persistent bleeding usually is treated surgically. Recent studies suggest that 20% of patients with diverticular bleeding can have the site identified and treated endoscopically. Treatment modalities include injection techniques, thermal therapy and hemoclips. This paper reports three cases successfully treated with band ligation, after initial epinephrine injection therapy had failed.Entities:
