Abstract
In three adult patients with diseased congenital bicuspid aortic valves and aneurysms of the ascending aorta, we performed aortic valve replacements, and combined a proximal and middle vertical reduction aortoplasty with a distal external synthetic wrapping. During a mean follow-up of 23.3 months there is no evidence of compression of the innominate artery by the distal external synthetic wrap, and no redilatation of the ascending aorta.Entities:
