Abstract
Pericarditis is a recognized consequence of meningococcal disease. The incidence among all age groups is 3 to 19%. Repeated episodes of pericarditis after meningococcal disease have been reported previously in two adults but not in children. We describe the clinical and laboratory features of a child with two distinct episodes of pericarditis after Neisseria meningitidis serogroup C infection.Entities:
