Abstract
This study sought to determine the rate of nasal methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) carriage among hospital staff and outpatients. Nasal swabs were obtained from 500 outpatients and 500 hospital staff. Hospital staff were 2.3-fold more likely to carry MRSA than were outpatients (6% vs 2.6%, P = .013).Entities:
