Abstract
This study examines the diagnostic efficacy of lateral tongue indentations as an indicator of clenching. A retrospective study of 113 patients (85 active and 28 recall) using radiographic indicators, excessive tooth mobility and self-report by the patient suggests that tongue indentations when present are indicators of clenching and warrant routine examination.Entities:
