Abstract
During a long-term study, a rat exposed to half-amplitude band pass fluorescent blue light (434 to 475 nm) and receiving a calcium channel blocker developed an ocular mass. By visual examination, a presumptive diagnosis of ocular melanoma was made. Subsequent surgical removal of the eye, followed by histopathology, confirmed the lesion as a highly pigmented epitheliod melanoma.Entities:
