Abstract
Acute displacement of the cemented acetabular component of a hip arthroplasty after attempted reduction of a dislocation is described. The causes of displacement of the socket, which was not radiologically loose, are discussed. Potential causes include impingement of the femoral head and the ceramic screw head overhanging the acetabular bone, which was used to fix the bone graft.Entities:
