Abstract
Transanal local excision of posterior benign rectal tumors is usually safe. Here, we report a case of transanal excision of a posterior anastomotic recurrence of a rectal adenoma after a stapled anterior resection that resulted in perforation into the peritoneal cavity.Entities:
