Abstract
A survey of 245 staff nurses from multiple health care settings revealed that nurses had a good knowledge of risk factors for skin breakdown. However, a variety of environmental and clinical factors were cited as impediments to their ability to maintain patient skin integrity. Development of nursing interventions that are effective and also practically feasible in a particular care setting are needed.Entities:
