Abstract
A 50-year-old woman underwent percutaneous ultrasonographic fine needle biopsy of a suspicious liver metastasis of colon cancer. A subcutaneous metastasis developed at the site of the puncture 20 days after biopsy. Tumor recurrence in the needle biopsy track is rarely reported in the literature. The possible causes of this complication are discussed.Entities:
