Abstract
Pediatric interventions for oncology patients include aspiration or percutaneous biopsy for malignancy diagnosis or recurrence, and percutaneous biopsy for the complications of tumor treatment. Tumor localization techniques have been used to resect small lesions with minimal invasion. However improved guidance techniques have allowed for more precise biopsy and the use of thermal ablation instead of excision for local tumor control. I will discuss these diagnostic and therapeutic techniques as they apply to children.Entities:
