Excess electron-transfer-based repair of a Cis-Syn thymine dimer in DNA is not sequence dependent.

Abstract

The repair of a cis-syn pyrimidine dimer by single electron reduction is possible in DNA over large distances. The intervening base sequence does not influence the repair yield.
