Abstract
The authors report the case of a 70-year-old man with metastatic colon cancer and no known history of coronary disease or major risk factors who developed coronary vasospasm after the initiation of capecitabine (Xeloda). Although coronary vasospasm has been associated with another older fluoropyrimidine compound, 5-fluorouracil, this is the first reported occurrence with this relatively newer cancer drug.Entities:
