Abstract
The pRb and p53 proteins have tumour suppressor functions and both are regulators of transcription. Their mechanisms of transcriptional regulation are unrelated in many ways--in contrast, it would appear, to their biological functions. This review highlights their biological connections in the light of recent advances in understanding the mechanisms of pRb and p53 function.Entities:
