Abstract
The mechanism(s) by which nonenveloped viruses enter host cells is poorly understood. The recent identification of cell-surface alpha(v) integrins as receptors for adenovirus internalization has shed much light on this process. In addition, analysis of alpha(v) integrins as internalization receptors for adenovirus has provided further insights into the biology of integrins.Year: 1994 PMID: 14731867 DOI: 10.1016/0962-8924(94)90010-8
