Abstract
A rapid method for obtaining the parameters describing the lengths of oxidation induction periods from non-isothermal differential scanning calorimetry measurements, based on the dependence of onset temperature of the oxidation peak on heating rate, is presented. The method has been applied for screening the stability of a set of three pharmaceuticals. The order of stabilities of the compounds obtained by the method coincides with the order determined by classical stability tests.Mesh:
