Echocardiographic features of tuberculous pericarditis.

Abstract

Echocardiography is a sensitive diagnostic tool for detecting pericardial effusion and intrapericardial abnormalities. A-70-year old man was found to have tuberculous pericarditis. The history and echocardiographic findings are reported, and relevant literature is reviewed.
