Abstract
A 6-year-old boy presented with an acute scrotum and was found at surgical exploration to have torsion and infarction of an indirect hernia sac. This represents the sixth reported case of this entity in the literature. The pediatric surgical specialist and those in the acute care setting should be aware of this consideration in the differential diagnosis of the acute scrotum.Entities:
