Abstract
Healthcare quality professionals in the United States have opportunities to teach healthcare providers in other countries how to measure and monitor quality. Special preparation is required to effectively teach an international audience. This article offers tips for teaching basic quality concepts based upon the authors' experiences in the People's Republic of China. Working with health professionals in other countries is exciting and challenging for everyone involved. Approaching the opportunity with systematic preparation may be the key to success.Entities:
