True posterior dislocation of subtalar joint: a case report.

Kamalakannan Murali Krishnan1, Ashok Kumar Sinha.

Abstract

Posterior dislocation subtalar joint is rare and usually results from a high-velocity injury. Previous reports of all complete posterior dislocations of the subtalar joint have had some degree of a rotational component. We report a case of a true complete posterior dislocation of subtalar joint with no rotation.
