Abstract
A case of endocarditis with vegetations on the tricuspid valve caused by Capnocytophaga canimorsus is described. Extensive diagnostic investigations preceded the diagnosis, including blood cultures, 34 of which were sterile. A possible role of the pulmonary circulation in the negative blood cultures is discussed.Entities:
