Abstract
Bilateral olfactory bulbectomy or destruction of the olfactory epithelium of rats resulted in elevated body temperature in room temperature, and lowered water/food ratio in 30 degrees ambient temperature. The results suggest the involvement of the olfactory system in the thermoregulation.Entities:
