Abstract
This report describes a case of Takayasus arteritis in a 19-year-old Palestinian female. She conceived after diagnosis. Her pregnancy was complicated by uncontrolled hypertension, which was not associated with other markers of disease activity. Despite aggressive medical treatment, cesarean section had to be carried out at 34 weeks of pregnancy because of uncontrolled hypertension. A live fetus was borne, and her blood pressure was subsequently controlled with a single antihypertensive agent.Entities:
