Abstract
The NADPH-diaphorase (NADPH-d) histochemical technique is commonly used to localize the nitric oxide (NO)-producing enzyme NO synthase (NOS) in neural tissues. In this study, we have used NADPH-d histochemistry to examine the spatio-temporal appearance of nitrergic cells in the rat rostral migratory stream (RMS) during postnatal development.
