Abstract
Interstitial cystitis (IC) is a chronic bladder disorder of unknown etiology that is often diagnosed by symptom criteria with or without cystoscopic findings. Several potential diagnostic markers have recently been described that may facilitate diagnosis of this disorder. A summary of the literature and a discussion regarding these biomarkers is provided, along with a brief discussion of new biomarkers presented at the meeting.Entities:
