Abstract
We report a rare case of a 36-year-old woman with neurofibromatosis 1 (NF1) with bilateral vertebro-vertebral arteriovenous fistulas. The patient presented with quadriparesis and had neck pain. Angiography revealed vertebral arteriovenous fistulas bilaterally with dilated epidural venous plexuses compressing the cervical cord resulting in quadriparesis. Endovascular treatment using coils and balloons resulted in successful occlusion of both fistulas. At 6-months postembolization, the patient had improved significantly and is now able to walk with support.Entities:
