Abstract
The structure of the initiator binding protein from the primitive eukaryote Trichomonas vaginalis reveals how a single protein can orchestrate promoter recognition, RNA polymerase II recruitment, and start site selection, and provides an evolutionary link with transcription initiation in higher eukaryotes.Entities:
