Other antibiotics tested included ampicillin, amoxicillin-clavulanate, piperacillin, cefazolin, cefuroxime, cefoxitin, cefotaxime, ceftazidime, cefepime, aztreonam, imipenem, chloramphenicol (Cm), gentamicin (Gm), kanamycin (Km), tobramycin (Tob), amikacin, neomycin (Neo), sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim (Sxt), trimethoprim (Tp), ciprofloxacin, fosfomycin, nitrofurantoin, rifampin and furazolidone (Fur). eThe only difference between the Ia, Ib, and Ic, or the IIa and IIb plasmid profiles is one band higher than 100 kb within the particular plasmid pattern. fnd, not determined.
