Spontaneous normalization of ovarian function and pregnancy in a patient with resistant ovary syndrome.

Andreas Mueller1, Alexander Berkholz, Ralf Dittrich, Ludwig Wildt.

Abstract

We report a case of normalization of ovarian function followed by pregnancy in a young woman with hypergonadotropic ovarian failure. The change from the hypergonadotropic to the normogonadotropic state was followed by serial hormone determination and ultrasonography. It occurred within a few days and was accompanied by an increase in estradiol as well as circulating Inhibin A concentrations.
