Abstract
A case of bulky abdomino-pelvic leiomyoma of the round ligament is reported with the CT (computed tomography) and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) findings. Leiomyoma appeared as encapsulated heterogeneous tumor on the spontaneous contrast CT images and on post-gadolinium contrast MRI. Lack of specificity hinders diagnosis before surgery. Leiomyoma of the round ligament is the most frequent histological type among round ligament tumors. Leiomyoma of the round ligament must be retained as a possible etiology of inguinal mass or pelvic tumor.Entities:
