Abstract
We describe three cases of poststreptococcal glomerulonephritis (PSGN) associated with autoimmune hemolytic anemia. Along with the classic findings of PSGN, the patients had a positive direct antiglobulin test. Two patients had a cold-reacting anti-I autoantibody. This is the first description of this association. Autoimmune hemolytic anemia should be considered in children with PSGN and significant anemia or signs of hemolysis.Entities:
