Abstract
Tonsillectomy is a very common procedure in childhood. Infectious complications after tonsillectomy are infrequently reported. We describe two children with severe group A beta-hemolytic streptococcal infection after tonsillectomy, and we review the literature about bacteremia and infectious complications after tonsillectomy.Entities:
