Abstract
A tumor in the head of the pancreas was detected in a 39-year-old man who had an excision of leiomyosarcoma in the back 2 years before. The patient underwent pancreatoduodenectomy. The surgical specimen revealed leiomyosarcoma metastatic to the pancreas. The patient is still alive following two resections in the lung and the abdominal wall. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of a successfully resected case of pancreatic metastasis from a leiomyosarcoma.Entities:
