Abstract
The phenomenon of metal biosorption by microorganisms has been thoroughly documented. Although this phenomenon is exhibited by both living and non-living forms of biomass, the purpose of this chapter will be to review biosorption by the latter. In addition, the application of various technological processes required for exploitation of this phenomenon in waste treatment will be examined.Entities:
