Abstract
After screening colonoscopy, a 65-year-old female developed small-bowel obstruction as demonstrated on abdominal CT scan. The obstruction was caused by a large herniation of the small intestine seemingly caused by the colonoscopic procedure. This is only the second report in the literature of incarcerated intestinal hernia as a complication of colonoscopy.Entities:
