Chemical synthesis of turbostratic carbon nitride, containing C-N crystallites, at atmospheric pressure.

Abstract

For the first time the synthesis of crystallite-embedded turbostratic carbon nitride material (t-CNx) from polymer precursor at atmospheric pressure is reported; the C-N crystallites within the material are in the alpha-C3N4 structure.
